To have your Lookup Issue Filter Panel displayed in an issue view primary 2 steps must be completed. First, add a new Lookup Panel Issue Filter to the panel list. The second step is the configuration that defines where, how and what your Lookup Panel will present.

  1. Add a new

Lookup
  1. Issue Filter Panel.
    All your

Lookup
  1. Issue Filter Panels are listed on the same page that is available. Follow to Administration → Manage Apps → STAGIL Assets for Jira →

Lookup
  1. Issue Filter Panels. Click “Create New Issue

Lookup
  1. Filter Panel”.

  2. Give your

Lookup Panel
  1. Issue Filter a name and a description. Remember that this name will be displayed as the custom field title that contains our Panel in the issue view.

3. Define the context. Itis an important step which allows users to get access to the panel. By default, all newly created panels are available across all projects and within issue types. However, no screens are assigned on creation therefore it will not be visible to anyone until you decide so. So first, let's define a project and an issue type for our new panel. Go to the Actions menu of the panel and select “Configure”.

4. Set up the screens. Even with a defined context, our Lookup Panel Issue Filter needs to be assigned to particular issue screens in order to be available to users. Go to the same panel Actions menu and select “Screens”. Select an appropriate screen based on your project and issue type. Then click “Update”.

Now that we have completed all the nesessary necessary set up the only thing left to do is to configure our Panel according to our needs. Please see the next chapter for guidance on this matter.
