Create a Traffic Light Custom Field
STAGIL Traffic Lights app offers allows creating two types of fields that can ensure each team’s needs are met.
In its essence, STAGIL Traffic Lights is a custom field. Upon the app instalment, this will have to be done manually through Settings → Issues → Custom Fields → Create Custom Field. A dialogue will pop up
in which you can find a Traffic Lights macro under Advanced.

Define the name for your field and description if needed.
Then, associate the field to the appropriate screens. You must associate a field with a screen before it will be displayed. New fields will be added to the end of a tab. Click the “Update” button at the bottom of the page.
Next, set up the right permissions for the field to be displayed correctly: see Permissions custom fields:
Traffic Light (select) - a select list field with selectable options associated with a particular colour.
Traffic Light (calculated) - a read-only dynamic field with colours set based on the result of a JQL query.
Create a new STAGIL Traffic Lights Custom Field
Select ⚙️ → Issues.
Under FIELDS, select Custom fields.
Click Create custom field. Make sure to select All to filter down the STAGIL field.
Find the Traffic Lights fields, select the type you want to create and click Next.
Add a Name for your field and an optional Description → Next.
Configure field context → Create.
Add the new custom field to one or multiple screens by ticking the corresponding box and clicking Update.
