STAGIL Assets and eazyBI

To analyze STAGIL Assets Relations in eazyBI do the following:

Open Jira and navigate to STAGIL Assets Relations (> Manage Apps > STAGIL Assets).

Select the relation you want to analyze and click edit.

Open eazyBI in another tab or window and navigate to the Advanced settings

There you enter the following according to the STAGIL Assets configuration:

# Organization - Task Relation [jira.customfield_Affected_Organization] name = "Customer" outward_link = "Affected Organization" dimension = true     [jira.customfield_Connected_Tasks] name = "Connected Tasks" inward_link = "Connected Tasks dimension = true multiple_values = true

If a custom field consists of 2 words, they are separated by an underscore. It is best to copy the words from the fields "Outward link" and "Inward link" to avoid typing errors. "name" can be any name you want to use, "inward_link" and "outward_link" must be filled with the values of the Assets relation. In our case an organization can have several tasks so we have to add multiple_values = true.

You can also limit that only issues with specific issue types will be selected if issues with different types can be linked using the specified links by adding another line:

issue_type = Invoice

If you would like to update this calculated issue link field for sub-tasks from their parent issues then specify update_from_issue_key. This parameter should reference to some default fields or custom fields containing single issue key:

update_from_issue_key = "parent_issue_key"

Please note that update_from_issue_key does not work with multiple_values = true.

After the input click on "update advanced settings.

 The corresponding fields now appear under Source Data > Custom Fields > Issue links where you can import as dimension or property like other custom fields. and analyze them in your reports.

Please contact us if you have further questions or visit the eazyBI documentation.
