Activate Asset Map

Before you can start configuring the Asset Map you have to enable the beta-features. You can enable the map by navigating to → Administration → Manage Apps → STAGIL Assets → Beta Features.

Configure Asset Map

Choose a project, in which you want to make use of the Asset Map and navigate to the project administration. Now you have the option to upload a picture on which you can place and arrange your assets. You also have the option to place your assets on a blank space. In this case you do not have to upload a picture. If you uploaded a picture, please choose it’s height and width. Tipp: Keep the original proportions of your picture in mind and choose width/height accordingly. By editing the icon size you can adjust the size of the icons of the assets displayed in your map (icon= symbol of issue type). By choosing size = 0 no icon will be displayed, only the summary of your issues.

Placing Elements on the Asset Map

To place assets on your map navigate to your map. After configuring a map as described in the previous step, you will now find an asset map entry in the sidebar navigation of your project. You will be directed to the view-mode of the map. To add assets, please click edit, to proceed in the edit-mode, to add assets and arrange them on the map via drag-and-drop.

→ Add issue to map by providing JQL:

→ Adjust position via drag and drop

→ Proceed with more assets

→ Save map

Hide Summary and Issues

In some cases you might want to hide issue icons or summaries. Therefore you can click on the setting-button in the upper right corner and check or uncheck Hide Summaries or Hide Issues.
