"Connection could not be acquired from the underlying database!" error

When editing or updating a synchronisation configuration in Database Synchroniser, the following error may appear:

Connection could not be acquired from the underlying database!

The issue can be resolved by re-entering the database password in the Database Synchroniser configuration.

1. Open the affected Database Synchroniser configuration.

2. Locate the Password field.

3. Remove the existing password from the field.

4. Enter the database password again.

5. Save the configuration.

6. Try to run the synchronisation again.

Re-entering and saving the password refreshes the database connection credentials and should resolve the error.
