Selectable issues

When created, Issue Picker fields do not have limitations on issues available for selection in the issue drop-down.

To determine the issues available for selection, see the steps below:

1. Select > Issues.

2. Under FIELDS, select Custom fields.

3. Go to the Issue Picker field, open the three-dot menu  > Contexts and default value > Edit custom field configuration.

4. Specify a JQL query in the Selectable Issue field.

5. Select a Searching User as an additional filter to determine selectable issues:

   • Current user: selectable issues are also filtered based on the permissions of the searching user, regardless of the JQL.

   • App user: selectable issues are filtered based on the permissions of the technical user - STAGIL Issue Picker Links Fields. This user is created automatically upon installation.

6. Specify the maximum number of issues users are allowed to select. Note: maximum number can not be higher than 999.
