Filtering and sorting

Jira tasks

Users can use a filter to find specific issues amongst returned search results. The filter icon is located in the top right corner of the macro.

Filtering options:

  • JQL - Users can employ JQL to create additional

  • abc - a text search triggered by entering keywords or phrases to locate issues based on textual content.

How to switch between text & JQL search
  • by column - basic filter, supported for the following custom fields:

    • project

    • issue type

    • priority

    • number

    • due date, created, updated

    • assignee, reporter, user picker (single, multi)

    • labels

Column filters

 

To sort the issue in the macro in ASC or DESC order, users need to click on the issue table column header.

 

Confluence tasks

Tasks in the macro can be sorted and filtered as well.

Sorting columns is possible in the following formats:

  • ASC / DESC for due dates columns

  • A→Z for text Assignee & Page columns

Sorting is enabled by clicking on an arrow icon in the table column header.

Tasks can also be filtered by the following attributes:

  • Locations: space or page

  • Status

  • Assignee

  • Due date

Filtering is available through a configuration in the ‘Edit macro' dialog.
