Confluence gives every user the same navigation. STAGIL Navigation Menus lets you replace it with navigation you design: the spaces, pages, and links your teams actually use, arranged the way your organization works.
What you can do
Build navigation around your organization. Group spaces and pages into folders, add links to external systems, and give people a direct route to the content they need.
Show different navigation to different people. Restrict items so each team sees what's relevant to them, and nothing else.
Choose where navigation appears. You can publish navigation across your whole site, or give a single space its own. It can sit on the page as a permanent bar, or stay out of the way behind a button users select when they need it. Users who install the STAGIL browser extension can also see your navigation in the Confluence sidebar.
Before you start
You need Confluence administrator permissions to build navigation. Everyone else sees what you publish.
Nothing is preconfigured when you install the app. You start with a blank navigation menu and build it up.
Set up your navigation
Go to Confluence administration → Settings → STAGIL Navigation → Navigation menus.

What else is in the app
Advanced Content Search helps users find content across your site, alongside the navigation you build. Users open it from Apps in the Confluence sidebar.
