Start here -> Customisation options
Our app extends Confluence’s native layout with custom navigation menus. This makes it easier for large teams to find the content and tools they use every day.
Admins configure custom menus only once. These menus can include folders, sub-folders, and links. Once set up, they can be made available to users in three different ways:
Top Navigation
If you choose this option, users will see a second horizontal bar placed directly under the system’s top navigation. This bar stays visible while browsing and contains your custom menus.
Always accessible across all spaces.
Works best for global links that should be available to everyone.

Sidebar navigation (via browser extension)
With this option, custom menus are added directly to the Confluence sidebar. To make them visible, each user installs a browser extension. This option is a good fit in environments where IT controls the browser setup, where the extension can be deployed to everyone at once.
Menus appear directly inside Confluence’s own sidebar.
No extra UI: the navigation feels fully integrated.
Works well in managed environments where rollout can be automated.

Advanced Navigation
With Advanced Navigation, users access your custom menus through a button placed under Atlassian’s top navigation. When clicked, it opens an overlay panel where all configured folders and links are shown.
Organise menus by topic or function.
Help teams reduce the number of clicks when moving between tools.
