Field Renaming

The Field Renaming feature allows Jira users to rename system fields such as Project Title, Issue Type, Summary, and Components. This feature can be accessed from the Manage App section of the app.

To access the Field Renaming feature:

1. Go to Manage App in your Jira instance.

2. Find STAGIL Navigation and select the Field Renaming option.

3. Choose the field you want to rename from the list of available options.

4. Enter the new name for the field and save the changes.

5. See the result in issue view and on edit and create screens.

Please note that renaming system fields may affect the functionality of other Jira features or third-party apps that rely on these fields. Testing the changes in a non-production environment before applying them in a live instance is recommended.

After saving your field names will look accordingly to your chosen titles:
