CSV Import / Export

Our app allows you to easily import and export table data in CSV format. You can use either commas or semicolons as separators. To export or import table data, simply click on the (…) action menu icon located in the upper right corner of your table.:

If an Export option is selected, a dialogue will open, where users can select a delimiter for the export file.

If the file will be imported back into the same table, ensure to select the Include configuration IDs option. This is required for a successful re-import.

Troubleshooting

When users attempt to re-import the same, they may come across an error message similar to the one shown below:

Such errors are prompted by extra spaces in the column name, e.g. 'Column name '. For successful import, remove the extra space.

JSM Portal

CSV Import and Export is also supported on the Create Request screen in the JSM portal. It is possible to import table data via CSV when creating requests, and export tables to CSV from the portal if needed.
