Simple text
Simple text column is a multi-line field to enter and edit extended text content with line breaks.
A text cell can contain up to 450 characters.
Column configuration
Column Name: This is a required field where you need to enter a name for the new column.
Mandatory: This checkbox allows you to specify whether the column should be mandatory or optional for saving the row values.
Service Portal: This checkbox allows you to specify whether the column should be visible in the request form on the Customer Portal.
Default Value: This field allows you to set a default value for every cell in a new row added to the table.
Minimum length: a setting for the minimum length of the text entered in the cell.
Maximum length: a setting for the maximum length of the text entered in the cell.
Regular expression: This field allows you to specify a regular expression to validate the data entered in the column.
Regular expression error message: This field allows you to specify the error message displayed if the data entered in the column does not match the regular expression.
Tooltip: This field allows you to specify a tooltip that will be displayed when users hover over the column header.
