Table Statistics

The Table Statistics gadget helps you visualise table data across issues directly on a Jira dashboard. You can add it to any dashboard to quickly see value distributions or aggregated sums based on your table columns.

Depending on the selected column type, the gadget displays:

  • Bar chart showing how often specific values appear across a single column type across all rows. Applicable for the following types of columns:

    • Select list

    • User picker

    • Status

For example, in the screenshot below, the gadget is used to analyse the progress across a certain table checklist. The bar chart illustrates that 94.2% of existing rows have the value ‘To Do’ in a ‘Status’ column.

  • Sum of values across all tables for a column type. Applicable for the following types of columns:

    • Number

    • Decimal number

Configuration options

When setting up the gadget, you can configure:

Table: Select which table to analyse.

Column: Choose a specific column (Select list, Status, User picker, Number, or Decimal number).

JQL filter: Define which issues need to be included in the analysis.

Quick filter: Apply a predefined quick filter to narrow down the results.

When selecting a Number or Decimal number column, you can also add a prefix (up to 20 characters) to label the sum.

Table rows

The Table rows gadget allows you to display specific rows from a selected table or checklist directly on your Jira dashboard.

When adding the gadget, you can configure:

Source table: Select which table to dispaly.

Quick filters: Apply a predefined table filter.

JQL: Define the set of issues whose table rows should be shown.

Max row height: Controls the maximum number of rows displayed in the gadget before scroll is required.

Display issue fields: Choose which Jira issue fields (columns) should be shown in the gadget.

The gadget respects both Jira issue permissions and STAGIL table permissions when displaying results. If no data matches the configuration, an empty-state message will be shown.
