Teams
Add Teams to organize and analyze work across groups of people that matter to your business.
Teams let you group users beyond Jira’s project structure — for example by Department, Client team, or Delivery unit.
Once configured, users can be assigned to one or more teams, and you can use this information later for reporting
Important
The Team feature is implemented in the same way as Tags and Attributes: it is stored directly on the worklog.
This design ensures accurate historical reporting, so that each worklog always reflects the team membership under which the work was originally recorded.
As a result, when filtering reports by a specific team, only those worklogs will appear that were logged while the user was a member of that team.
