General
With our app STAGIL Tooltips for Jira you can add useful tooltips to the create screens that give users additional instruction about how to fill certain fields in the screen. Our tooltips do not extend the screen (like the description field would do), because tips are stored in small questionmark buttons and are only visible until users hover with their mouse over them.
Configuration
The configuration of our app is pretty simple. Navigate to the app administration and select Field Tooltips:
Now you can choose a custom field you want to apply a tooltip on and write your tooltip into the provided field. Then click Save. Later on you can easily edit or delete your tooltips you created.
