Table Navigator is a separate page in Jira where users can pull and merge all tables of a specific configuration and then view and interact with them as if they were one unified table.
Any user can access the Navigator page via the More tab in the top navigation:
Users can select one table at a time to view it in Navigator.
If one table has several contexts, it will be displayed as multiple options, with the context name indicated in brackets (see the ‘Invoice’ table option in the screenshot above).
To indicate which issue a particular row belongs to, each table will be automatically expanded by one more right column, ‘Source issue’, with a parent issue key as a value.
The [···] menu in the top right corner provides access to table configuration options. This menu is only visible to administrators, ensuring that only authorized users can modify table settings.
Permissions
If a user does not have permission to view a specific issue, the table rows from that issue will not be displayed in the navigator. This ensures that data visibility adheres to user permissions and access levels.
This feature is currently still in development. We have several more features on the roadmap, such as:
filtering & sorting
displaying full display style configuration, e.g. table sum.
CSV export
adding an issue custom field as a column to the Navigator view
