Even though the The Advanced Link field is , although not a custom field, it can be present accessed in the Create issue dialogue. Users Through this field, users can browse, select, and link issues during issue creation through an Advanced Link field.This . However, this feature is not available by default readily accessible and requires additional configuration. Each field (outward & inward) is Both the outward and inward fields need to be enabled separately.
To add include a specific particular Advanced Link field to a in the create issue dialogue, follow these steps:
Go to the Display Style configuration tab and check out the option to Enable field on create screen → Save.
If not already configured, selecting It is also necessary to select a Searching user in the Data Logic configuration tab is also requiredif it has not been done already.
During the first configuration, a one-time authorisation is required. Once the checkbox in step Step 1 is checked off for the first time, the authorization dialogue is opened. After selecting the checkbox and saving the configuration, a custom field (type = External Assets Platform) will be generated with the same name as the advanced link field. This newly created custom field can be personalized through its settings and made mandatory.
