The Sync Selected Pages mode is one of three synchronization modes for connecting spaces and projects. It provides users with the ability to:

  • initiate workflows and sync issues solely from particular pages

  • manually choose the issue type from the page view

  • eliminate synchronization for specific pages.

Configuration

To create a new configuration for this mode, simply follow the basic steps outlined here, which are similar to those for other modes.

Page Sync

After the configuration is created, a Workflow & Fields button will appear on each page in the space.

Click on the button to start workflow synchronisation. The following dialogue emerges:

Project: The project selection field is read-only, showcasing the project selected in Create configuration dialogue.

Issue Type: select the issue type to sync with the page.

Remove workflow from a single page

Remove Workflow feature allows removing sync between a specific page and an issue. The feature can be accessed only by the Confluence space administrator or global (instance) administrator.

To start, go to a page view → Actions menu → Remove Workflow.

This action will break the link between the page and the issue. However, the issue will still retain the link to the page in Issue Links.

Please note that if a new workflow is created with a Workflow & Fields button, the page will be synced to a new issue.
