To enable easy access to your Confluence pages within Jira, you can set up a link using Jira custom fields and then display and use them directly from the issue view.

First, a designated custom field should be created. To configure the Page Link Field in Jira Cloud, follow these steps:

  1. Create a custom text field in your Jira Cloud instance. ‘Short text’ or ‘Paragraph’ custom field types can be used.

  2. Navigate to Jira Project settings and go to Fields. Ensure that your custom field is configured with the Wiki Style Renderer.

Next, continue to the configuration in Confluence. To configure the Page Link Field, perform the following actions:

  1. Navigate to the project-space configuration.

  2. Access the three-dot menu and choose 'Configure fields'.

  3. Click on the 'Page Link Field' tab.

  4. Select the field that you have created in the previous steps and click ‘Save’.

As a result you should the text field will be automatically populated with a link to a linked Confluence page.
