Link Status Check
Our app can help you identify broken links to internal or external content sources by running a check and reporting back their availability status.
This makes it easier to spot links that lead to archived, deleted, or missing pages, allowing you to take action and ensure your content remains accurate.
Where can I check the content state?
Go to Space settings → Manage content → Outgoing Links
In addition to the existing link list, you can see a Content state column. This column shows the current status of the content to which the link points.
What content types are checked?
Pages
Blog posts
External URLs
What content states are supported?
Each link displays a lozenge showing the current state of the target content.
Internal links
Active - displayed if the link is valid and up to date
Archived - displayed if the page was archived
Inactive - displayed if the page is deleted, missing, or otherwise unavailable
External links
Active - displayed if the link is reachable and returned a valid response.
Inactive - displayed if the link is:
Not authorised, e.g. the target site requires login or credentials
Forbidden – access is restricted (e.g. 403 error)
Not found – the URL returned a 404 error or is unreachable
Links are automatically sorted by content state, with non-active links shown first.
