This Quick Start guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin using STAGIL Templates. Whether you’re a Jira admin, project manager, or end user, you’ll find everything you need to hit the ground running.

Step 1: Access the Template Library

The Template Library is your starting point for creating and managing templates.

  • Navigate to your profile picture menu in the top-right corner of Jira.

  • Select Issue Templates to open the Template Library.

  • From here, you can browse existing templates, filter them, or create new ones.

Step 2: Create Your First Template

Start building a template in just a few steps:

  1. Click the Create Template button in the top-right corner of the Template Library.

  2. Define your template name, permissions and fields with default values.

  3. Save the template.
