Create links via macro
In addition to automatic updates, you can manually add new incoming links from within the macro view. This is useful if you want to quickly create references without navigating to the target pages.
How to add a new incoming link
Hover over the macro in page view.
Click the + icon in the top-right corner.
The Add links dialog will open.
Link configuration
Pages: Select one or more target pages where the link to the current page will be added.
Display text: Enter the link text that will appear on the target page. If left empty, the current page title will be used by default.
Link position: Choose where the link will be placed on the target page:
Start of the page (default): Adds the link to the very top of the page.
End of the page: Adds the link to the bottom of the page.
Under the anchor macro: Places the link directly below a specific anchor macro.
If this option is selected, an Anchor name field will appear. Enter the anchor ID/name where the link should be inserted.
If the anchor is not found on the selected page(s), the link will be added at the start of the page as a fallback.
