Sidebar Navigation

Sidebar Navigation allows you to extend the sidebar with custom menus, folders, and links. It works through our browser extension, available for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.

Once installed, the extension runs automatically each time a user opens Confluence. The sidebar is then enhanced with the menus you have configured.

What users see

With the extension enabled, the sidebar shows:

  • Custom menus, folders, and sub-menus as configured by the admin.

  • Standard system menus (such as Spaces, Apps, Home), displayed as usual.

  • An option to hide or reorder items using the native sidebar ‘More’ dialog, just like in Confluence’s default sidebar.
