Bulk import to multiple issues

This page explains how to efficiently import CSV files to populate tables in multiple Jira issues, saving time and effort.

File format

To import a table, the CSV file must include both the table's configuration and data, separated by commas or semicolons. The CSV file should match the configuration of the table that is to be imported and must contain an additional column on the left side for the issue key.

To include a table with multiple rows in the CSV file, duplicate the issue key for each table row.

If the table has any select lists or user picker columns, please make sure to include the select list option IDs and user picker IDs in the CSV export file. The IDs are required on import to the table.
