Global Table Navigator
Table Navigator is a separate page in Jira where users can pull and merge all tables of a specific configuration and then view and interact with them as if they were one unified table.
Users can also add custom fields as columns to view alongside table row values. Field columns can be added via a menu in the top left navigation:
Any user can access the Navigator page via the Apps tab in the top navigation:
OR
In software or service projects, users can access the navigator page with a Tables button in the project’s sidebar. When a table is opened in this way it will have a pre-filled JQL query - project = {currentproject}
Users can select one table at a time to view it in Navigator.
Each merged table will be displayed according to the individual configuration, i.e. displaying row count or column settings, incl. column sums.
If one table has several contexts, it will be displayed as multiple options, with the context name indicated in brackets (see the ‘Invoice’ table option in the screenshot above).
To indicate which issue a particular row belongs to, each table will be automatically expanded by one more right column, ‘Source key’, with a parent issue key as a value.
Users can filter values across the Navigator via the same filter as in the issue view.
Table rows can also be filtered by issue attributes using a JQL search field:
Additional actions available in Table Navigator include:
copy a link to the current table view, incl. applied filters
and access to the configuration page of the current table,
and are available via a or icons next to the table filter.
