Migrating data from Table Grid (iDalko)

If you have previously created tables using the Table Grid app provided by Exalate, you can effortlessly convert them to STAGIL Tables. Our app has a built-in tool that ensures effortless and automated data and configuration migration.

Migration between apps can be performed only within one instance.

The process is started by obtaining a JSON file with Table Grid configuration.

Once the file is downloaded, go to Settings → Manage apps → Table configuration. In the top right corner, click on the (…) button.

Next, select ‘Import Table Grid Next Generation’.

Click ‘Browse’ to select and upload the TGNG configuration JSON file.

Configuration import implies replicating the existing Table Grid fields as STAGIL Tables. This includes the name, context, column types, and column configuration within the STAGIL Table functionality.

Mark the ‘Copy all existing rows from configured grid’ checkbox if data migration is required.

If you migrate the data, all values from the Table Grid custom fields will be copied to the newly created STAGIL Tables.

We recommend to migrate the fields one by one, when migrating large sets of data. Fields for migration are selected in the dialog below.
