Draft Page Link field

The Draft Page Link field feature allows having an extra page link field in the issue view. This is only relevant for pages that have been timestamped (see https://stagil.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SWFC/pages/759038048). As a result, the Confluence Page field is populated with a link to a current published page version. At the same time, the Draft Page Link field will open a draft version of the page.

Configuration

  1. Create a custom text field (single line).

  2. In the field context, select the project and issue type synced to a Confluence space.

  3. Add the new custom field to one or multiple screens by ticking the corresponding box and clicking Update. It is required for the field to be present on the create & edit screens of the synced issue types.

  4. Go to Project Settings → Fields → Actions → Edit Fields.

  5. Select the Field Configuration.

  6. Find the custom field → Renderers.

  7. Select Wiki Style Renderer → Update.

  8. Go to the Workflows and Fields configuration page → select project-space configuration → open the three-dot menu → Page Link Field tab → Draft Page Link field and select the custom field in the drop-down:

9. Create two versions of the page: draft and published, by timestamping the page.

10. Go to the linked issue → two fields are now displayed in the issue view. One with a link to a published version of the page and another one with a link to a draft.
