How to create a Support Zip log file?

The Support Zip log file contains logs from your instance, diagnostic and configuration information to troubleshoot the problem efficiently.

Before creating the Support ZIP, you must log in with Jira Admin permissions. If you have no required permissions, please contact your Jira Administrator to get you the Support ZIP in the following way:

  1. Click the cog icon at top right of the screen and select General Configuration.

  2. Navigate to System from the dropdown menu.

  3. Open Troubleshooting and Support Tools in the left sidebar.

  4. Go to the Create support zip tab and customize the contents of your support zip.

    NOTE: Only Jira application logs should be selected.

  5. Click ‘Create zip’ to download the file.

  6. Attach the file to your Support ticket.
