Project Navigation

Project Navigation allows to create a more localised customised navigation for users - this time in the scope of a specific project or project group.

Project navigation allows to add a new button to the project sidebar. On click, the button opens a dialogue with a list of pre-configured tabs and links.

To create such a dialogue, a Jira administartor should navigate to Manage apps → Project Navigation.

Then, click on the Add project navigation button. Name the navigation configuration and select in-scope-projects.

A project can be associated only with 1 project navigation at a time.

To configure sub-navigation tabs of the Project Navigation dialogue, click on [···] → Manage → Add sub navigation.

To add a web-link to the tab, click on [···] button for the specific tab → Manage → Add web link.
