Document Search

Our search feature is designed to provide a more efficient and targeted content experience for users. It allows you to search and filter pages based on a number of page attributes. Search results are displayed as a table for a more convenient overview:

The search table can be accessed with a click on a search icon via the Apps tab in the top navigation:

a link to the search page can be found in a space sidebar under Apps:

By default search results are displayed in a table with the following columns:

  • Document (contains page title).

  • Space.

  • Creator (of the page).

  • Created date.

  • Updated date.

Any user can add additional columns to the table. Columns are managed via the ‘Display Attributes’ pop up menu in the top right corner of the search table.

  • Created

  • Updated

  • Assignee

  • Single line text

  • Single user picker

  • Multi user picker

  • Due Date

  • Date picker

  • Status

  • Issue key

  • Type

  • Priority

  • Project

In the search table, users can filter the content via custom fields from a synced Jira:

By default, only filter ‘Type’ is displayed, i.e. type issues synced to pages. Administrators can add more filter fields via the Search Settings page in the app’s administration.

Fields selected in the Default attribute filters fields will be displayed to all users at all times when visiting the Document Seach page.

Sorting is available for all columns representing issue fields. To sort the values, hover over the column header and click on the arrow that appears.

Attributes-based content filters

Users can also explore the child pages of content directly from the search results. Each page listed in the table can be expanded. If the page has child pages, they will be displayed in the expanded view. If there are no child pages, a message will appear stating, Nothing to show.e

Search results can be shared with other users. A URL link will be copied to the clipboard with the click of a dedicated button:
