Creating new template

To start a new template configuration, select Create template on the Issue Template configuration page. This action opens a dialogue to fill in template details and default values:

Name: displayed in issue view and used for template search.

Type: templates can be created as an issue or a sub-task.

Description: specify what this template is used for (displayed on the Issue template configuration page)

Viewers / Editors: specify permissions for groups, single users or any logged-in user.

CRON schedule: add a CRON expression that will trigger an automatic issue creation based on the current template.

Once all the necessary details are filled out, select Next.

The next dialogue is used to configure default values for the templates.

To add more fields, use the ‘Configure Fields’ menu.

Select ‘Create’ to finish the configuration process and create a template.
