Space - Project Synchronizer

To create a synchronizer, go to the Jira Synchronizers page and click Create synchronizer. This will open the configuration dialog.

  1. Select the Confluence space and the Jira project you want to link.
If you cannot find the space/project option you are looking for, start typing in the select field.

  2. Select the issues types to be synced to a page.

    1. For each issue type, you can define an individual CQL condition. If a page matches a condition, it will be synced to that specific issue type.

    2. If a page matches 2 different conditions, the first matching condition will take precedense.

    3. If page no longer meets any defined condition, the associated Jira issue will be unlinked automatically.

  3. Define the sync mode by marking or skipping the Enable Workflow and Fields for each page manually checkbox:

    1. When enabled, users will be able to trigger sync manually from the page view.

    2. When disabled the sync will happen automaticaly as soon as the page is created, or when it matches the CQL condition.

  4. Optionally select a text field in Jira to store a link to the synced Confluence page. This field must support wiki-style rendering.

  5. Click "Create" to create the Space - Project synchronizer.
