Issues of current epic
STAGIL Assets offers an advanced counterpart to a default Jira ‘Child issues’ panel - Issues of current epic Issue Filter Panel.
When an Issue Filter Panel has its scope set to ‘Issues of current epic’, it generates a panel with a list of issues associated with a current epic. The panel is displayed only in issues of type ‘Epic’, regardless of the context configured for the panel.
Just like other STAGIL issue panels, it brings in an array of useful features, like:
Advanced metadata overview: add any custom field to the panel table as a column.
Manage data via a built-in JQL filter.
Add issues to the epic directly from the epic issue view.
Progress bar to showcase completed issues in the epic.
Column sorting.
Sum up values in numerical columns.
Option to display panel in the details tab.
How to hide a default Jira panel from issue view
By default, STAGIL and Jira default panels are displayed side by side in the issue view.
To help keep the issue view organized and focused on important data displayed only via STAGIL panels, the default Child issues panel can be hidden.
To hide the panel, a STAGIL Browser Extension must be installed. Find more information about the browser extension and configuration to conceal default elements here: STAGIL Assets browser extension.
