Importing Table Values

You can easily import data from CSV or Excel files directly into your tables. Ensure that the first row of your file reflects the columns of your table. Click on the three-dot icon on the upper right side of your table and choose the import format of your file (comma- or semicolon-separated). The imported data rows will be added at the end of your table.

Importing Table Values in JSM forms

Users can upload tables via a CSV or Excel file directly from the request creation form in the Customer Portal, with an upload button located opposite the table name.

When importing data from an Excel file, the following logic applied:

  • Only the first sheet is imported.

  • If a group of cells is merged in Excel, only the value from the first cell of the merged area is imported.

  • If the Excel cell date format is defined as a date, it will be converted to the format defined in Jira.

  • If the Excel cell format with a date is defined as text, the value will only be imported if the text date format matches the date settings in Jira.

Exporting Table Values

Exporting your table values is even easier than importing them. Click on the same icon in the upper right side of your table, choose the export format of your file (comma- or semicolon-separated), and it will be downloaded to your computer.

Exporting Sum Rows

Export dialogue has one additional configuration: Export sum row. Checking out the box allows downloading the file with the table sum row included.
