How to configure

Each template can have a number of sub-tasks configured. This is set in the ‘Subtasks’ tab in the template’s ‘Create’ or ‘Edit’ dialogue. See https://stagil.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCLJC/pages/2065367058 page for more details.

How to apply

Currently, subtask templates can be used only by applying the template to an existing issue.

The process can be described as the sequence of the following steps:

1 . Create a new issue or go to an existing one.
Please note, that the context of the current (target) issue should match the template context. This will allow users to see the template in the template select list:

2. Go to the issues ‘Actions’ menu and select ‘Create subtasks from template’.

3. Find the required template in the select list. Click on the template to select and see a preview of the subtasks that will be applied. Use the icon to remove unnecessary subtasks.

4. Click ‘Apply n subtasks’.

5. Result: the target issue is updated with a number of preconfigured subtasks from the template.
