Epic template

Overview

Epic templates allow the creation of complex issue structures with linked child issues.

How to configure

Epic template configuration follows the same steps as a regular template. Child issue configuration is continued in the ‘Issues in Epic’. See https://stagil.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCLJC/pages/2065367058 page for more details.

How to use

There are several ways to create issues from the epic template:

1. Open a template selector dialogue with a keyboard shortcut ‘g+t’:

2. Select a template from the template browser and click ‘Use’:

3. Configure a Create & Link button and access the template directly from the current issue, and use convenient features like copy current issue’s field values or establish a dependency.
