Text
Overview
Our table field supports 2 types of text columns:
Simple text. Such columns have a limit for the maximum number of characters used - 450 characters.
Unlimited text. This column type has no input limitations.
By default, the cell height is set to show the first 3 rows of text at a time for each cell.
To view the full text, users can hover over the cell, and a tooltip will appear.
To always display the full text without the line break, administrators can set it up through column configuration, i.e. mark the ‘Disable Text Truncation’ checkbox.
Please note that this column type cannot be searched via JQL.

Wiki Editor panel
It is possible to include a wiki markup panel to any text column cell (simple or unlimited) which can be accessed by users when they click on the cell and enable cell edit mode.
By default, the panel is not enabled. To enable it, go to the table configuration page and click on the 'Actions' column menu. Then, select 'Manage' and mark the checkbox in the dialogue to enable the panel.
