Date picker

This column type operates like a normal Jira date picker field. Useful for setting deadlines or organizing events.

The general configuration of the column is similar to the rest of the column types:

It does, however, has a distinctive configuration field - ‘Start date column’. This configuration allows to enable validation for input in this column. Input can be validated against a value in another date picker column. Validation works with one condition, i.e. value in the current column can not be > than the value in the start date column.

For example, in the screenshot below we can see to date column: ‘Start date’ and ‘Due date’.

Validation ensures that users cannot add a new row unless a specific condition is met.
